Ungno Lee’s House opened in November, 2011. Coming back to Seoul from Beijing in October, 2011, it was my first trip out of Seoul then. The memorial is located next to the house the artist was born. Designed by Sung Yong Joh, the building again shows very subtle moves which minimizes its impact on its surroundings. Main building has four exhibition spaces and a planned exhibition space; the smaller buildings next to the main building are book cafe and archive/reference room.
