Buyeo Culture Institute is located close to Buso Fortress. It was built in 1971 as Baeje Museum, and was designed by Swoo Geun Kim. Due to lack of exhibition space, the museum moved to another building in 1993. The building is now used for restoring and maintaining historic artifacts. Exposed concrete roof structure is accentuated to create a formal gesture. Crafts from Baekje era on second floor are exhibited with skylights, and instead of putting gutter a chain is connected to a bowl placed in between the main structural members.
