Bonte Museum was designed by Tadao Ando. Like many of his works it represents his signature style which is using exposed concrete and simple geometry. There were spaces similar to Sumiyoshi House where you have middle space opened as a double height space with a bridge connecting the each ends. Each building masses were carefully put and connected to one another while consciously bringing in nature. The museum exhibits traditional Korean culture – handmade crafts, clothes from Chosun dynasty era, modern art and furniture collected for 40 years by HaengJa Lee, who is one of the daughter-in-laws of Hyundai Group.
