Whanki Museum was designed by Kyuseung Woo and opened in 1992. The architect translated Whanki Kim’s way of living and art into architecture, and tried to design exhibition spaces best for presenting the artist’s work. Abstraction found in the artist’s work is shown here and there in the museum along with occasional view to the outside.
