Songwon Art Center was designed by Kisu Park of Mass Studies (http://www.massstudies.com/). Songwon Art Center was founded by Songwon Culture Foundation which is under Dongkuk Steel Mill Co, Ltd (http://www.dongkuk.com/en/index.dks). They used color coated steel plates, folded in five different widths.  Low floor area ratio led them to use almost half of their area for underground exhibition space. Pyramid shaped structure uniquely supports the above ground mass, and also lets daylight into the below ground. 6th, 7th, and 8th images are from a year before when they had exhibitions of their artists in residency.
